Note: Students are required to take and complete 29 or more elective subjects in addition to the 11 compulsory subjects (if 3 or 4 one-credit subjects are taken, 30 or more subjects must be selected and completed).
The purpose of this subject is to understand the principles and methods of two different matters regarding microorganisms. One is to understand the principle and method for the regulation of human pathogenic microorganisms and the toxins produced. Another is to understand the principle and method for the control of useful microorganisms that produce various requisites for humans.
Bioinformatics is a scientific field to better understand biology using computer science. The aim of this course is to acquire basic knowledge of bioinformatics and to learn how to analyze data using computers.
